Fluid and functional. Revitalizing, everyday items for everyday people. Memorable enough to be remembered.
What on earth, you might say, does tap water have to do with modern design? In a bottled water culture, I venture to say quite a bit. It’s communal, simplistic, everyday, and largely overlooked. I feel that foremost, furniture should be this utilitarian and dependable, while at the same time making your environment a bit more enjoyable to behold. While the package sure looks good, it’s the substance that counts. Tapwater Designs currently offers a collection of handcrafted original wooden goods, designed to simplify your life and continue to the next. Organic hand- rubbed finishes are used whenever possible, and the traditional joinery methods employed from my hardwood chopping blocks to the Lambda barchair are time-tested and reinforced for extreme wear and seasonal shifts. I am confident in this enough to back all my items with a wear guarantee. I personally handcraft each piece to the highest standards in a small shop in southern Maine. They are then signed and dated and ready for your good pleasure. All of Tapwater Designs products are customizable in species, sizes, and ideas. Thank you for looking. New projects are always being added, so please do come back for more. And of course, please let me know if any of my goods can simplify your life.
